The National Mahila Samiti of Friends of Tribals Society is going digital for the first time. With the collective efforts of all our members, curated exhibitors from across the country have participated in this exhibition. We are delighted to provide a platform to entrepreneurs, large and small business houses, weavers, artists and artisans to showcase their exemplary talents and skills in this period of social distancing when physical shopping is not preferred by many. This is also an effort towards a self reliant Bharat where exhibitors and buyers do not have to depend on foreign platforms for showcasing and buying our own Indian products. The proceeds of this exhibition is for the education of rural and tribal children through Ekal Vidyalayas and for women empowerment in rural areas.

Van Bandhu Parishad (Friends of Tribal Society, FTS) works under its parent body Ekal Abhiyan Trust. Established in 1989, FTS has now grown into a strong network of 36 chapters with 32 dediacted Mahila Samitis in all the major cities across the country. Ekal was bestowed with the Gandhi Peace Award of 2017 by the honourable President of India Shri Ramnath Kovind in the presence of hounourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for its exemplary work in the development of rural India. Ekal stands tall and committed to bring the villages into the mainstream of development and thus bridging the gap between the cities and villages.
